If you are a Cal Poly student that needs help regarding nutrition or fitness, PULSE (Peers Understanding Listening Supporting Educating) is the peer education program at Cal Poly and the HEAT (Health Enrichment Action Team) offer one on one consultations for students.
HEAT team is made up of trained peer educators that specialize on topics including MyPlate, fitness nutrition, disordered eating, dietary analysis, campus dining, nutrition myths and fad diets.
To receive a HEAT consultation on dietary analysis, we ask students to complete a 24-hour recall and record everything they ate in the past day.
To schedule an appointment with a HEAT peer educator either walk in or call to schedule.
