Week 4: Professional & Financial Wellness
This week is focuses on professional and financial wellness. Whether you are a student pursuing your education to attain your preferred job, or you are a current staff/faculty member pursuing your professional goals, being satisfied with your work is essential to your overall well-being. When we are confident with our work identity, expectations and skills/abilities, then we free ourselves to be creative, work efficiently, innovate, and collaborate with others.
The end of the quarter is approaching and summer is just around the corner. Some of our students are looking forward to internships, exploring job opportunities and many of our staff and faculty are focusing on enhancing their professional development.
For the 31 Days of Wellness, we have teamed up with many campus and community partners to enhance participant’s professional well-being. Be sure to check out all the sponsored events below and catch a Career Services workshop, Learn @ Lunch with Human Resources, and visit with Mindbody at our Professional Wellbness Fair!

Cal Poly Human Resources, is hosting a Learn @ Lunch on Thursday, 5/25 from 12:00pm – 1:00pm at Robert E. Kennedy Library Room 216B, “Know Your Learning Style & Re-energize Your Learning”. This will be our last Learn @ Lunch series for the 31 days of Wellness. Big thank you to the Take 5 Program for co-sponsoring these sessions.
This week we will raffle off two free movie tickets to the Movie Experience at our Professional Wellness Fair on May 24, 2017 from 11:00am – 1:00pm on Mustang Way. Stop by the Campus Health & Wellbeing booth to enter and WIN BIG!
